Temby Signature Trumpet - Silver

Signature Silver Plated Bb Trumpet

The Temby Signature model trumpet gives beginners a great start, and helps to advance playing to higher levels, more quickly. This is an instrument that is a clear leader in it’s class.

This model features a highly durable silver plated finish.

The Signature model trumpet features a 4 3/4″ yellow brass bell for a clear and focussed sound, plus a rose brass leadpipe which helps to make playing easier for novice players. This trumpet now (since year 2016) also features the professional level pistons that form the basis of Temby professional trumpets. These “Monel” pistons are fast and smooth in operation and reliable – and stay that way! There’s no need to worry here about holding back a player’s development and interest with pistons that constantly get stuck!

Minimal bracing makes the instrument lighter, well balanced and more comfortable to hold, and allows the instrument to make music with less effort from the player – this horn is all about making learning easier and more fun!

The 3rd valve slide throw ring is adjustable so that it can be positioned depending on the size of the player’s hands, to ensure comfortable and fast slide movements. The slide operates smoothly and reliably and will continue to do so, unlike many lower quality trumpets.  We haven’t put a 1st valve throw saddle on this model. Not only does this save a little weight, it reduces the amount of solder and metal mass used on a crucial area of the instrument which in turn increases resonance and ease of playing for students. Typically, students wont use this until their playing is advanced to the point that they will ideally be playing on a professional model trumpet.

Responsive, easy blow, good projection and intonation, valves and slides that are fast, smooth, and long term reliablility (6 year warranty). This trumpet is engineered to the finest tolerances and is made with the highest quality materials and workmanship.

This trumpet model was originally released in 2003 as the Temby Intermediate Trumpet. Since then, with input from Australian trumpet icon Bob Venier, the instrument has undergone some minor changes. It was his instrument of choice for studio work and was re-named the Temby BV Lightweight Studio model. In 2016, with the upgrade to professional pistons, the model is now known as the Temby Signature model trumpet.

Despite the name changes, this model has been a favourite of many schools throughout Australia, for it’s easy playing, class leading reliability and ability to last the distance required by school environments. For individuals, this horn will give you a great chance of success with your learning and playing development.

Playing trumpet in my school bands was the most amazing experience ever, I couldn’t have imagined high school without my music, and I don’t think I would have continued playing if I didn’t have my own trumpet.
